An Edwardian house had the standard galley kitchen and small adjacent dining room.
Hotkeys took advantage of the maximum additional depth under permitted development, and designed an open-plan living space which made the most of the natural light. This provided sociable
entertaining space for this family.
A sophisticated colour-change lighting scheme, underfloor heating, and combination island unit and glass breakfast table completed the scheme.
On fine days, the triple bifold door opens onto the raised terrace, which was also designed as part of the project, to extend the space even further.
